【那覇】波上宮（なみのうえぐう）
沖縄二日目。午前9時。
チェックアウトを済ませ、旭橋駅からゆいレールで美栄橋駅まで移動。
駅前のレンタカーショップで予約済みの車を借りて、以前から行ってみたかった那覇市内の神社『波上宮（なみのうえぐう）』へ向かいます。
神社自体、沖縄では珍しいですが、ここ『波上宮』は琉球王国時代から特別扱いされ、創建が古すぎてわからないぐらい由緒ある神社とのこと。海を見渡す崖の上から人々の海運の安全を祈念するそのお姿、赤い瓦の南国様式の社殿のルックスもたまりません。狛犬の代わりにシーサーがいるというのも本当なのだろうか。
神社仏閣好きの私の念願の参拝に付き合ってもらった、二日目の午前でした。

Complete the checkout and move from Asahihashi Station to Miebashi Station by Yui Rail.
I rent a car reserved at the car rental store in front of the station and head for the shrine “Nami no Uegu” in Naha city that I wanted to go from before.
Although the shrine itself is unusual in Okinawa, this “Nami no Uegu” has been treated as special from the Ryukyu Kingdom era, and it is a historical shrine whose origin is too old to know. Its appearance praying for the safety of people’s shipping from the top of the cliff overlooking the ocean, the look of the shrine of the tropical style of red tiles can not be collected.
