【那覇】沖縄県立博物館・美術館（おきみゅー）
沖縄二日目。午前11時。
ここ「沖縄県立博物館・美術館」は、沖縄の城（ぐすく）をイメージした特徴的な外観で、遠くからも目に付く存在感ある建物。沖縄の歴史・文化・芸術を一度に味わえる複合施設で、「博物館」と「美術館」が併設された全国でも珍しい施設です。
『博物館』の常設展では、貝塚集落から琉球王国の繁栄にいたるまでと、薩摩藩の影響下から沖縄県となるまでの歴史について琉球王朝由来の美しい展示物と共に、丁寧に説明されています。
『美術館』では、期間限定の特別展示が複数開催。
「ゲゲゲの人生展」では、水木しげる先生の幼少期からの強烈な才能に触れ、「ティラノサウルス展」ではスケールの大きな等身大標本に感動し、「儀間比呂志」木版画展では沖縄風土の美しさをあらためて感じました。「現代アート」ゾーンでは斬新なポップアートが並ぶなか、出口付近の最後の作品が、「安室奈美恵」さんの顔をポップに描いた絵画で、今年で引退する沖縄最高のアーティストへの職員の方の敬意を感じました。
当初は小一時間の立ち寄り予定だったものの、予想をはるかに超えた展示内容に、気が付けば驚きの三時間半が経過。心地良い疲れと共に、「また是非来たい」と二人で同じ感想を話した、沖縄二日目の午後でした。

The “Okinawa Prefectural Museum / Art Museum” is a characteristic appearance that imaged Okinawa’s castle (Gusuku), a building with a presence that is visible from afar. In “Museum of Art”, a limited number of special exhibitions of limited time are held.
In “Gegege’s Life Exhibition”, Mr. Shigeru Mizuki touched the strong talent from childhood, “Tyrannosaurus Exhibition” was impressed with big life-size specimen of scale, “Kayama Hiroshi” woodblock print exhibition has the beauty of Okinawa culture I felt it again. In the “Contemporary Art” zone, among the paintings in which the last piece near the exit near the exit is lined with novel pop arts, the paintings that portrayed the face of “Amuro Namie”, the staff to the best Okinawa artists who will retire this year I felt respect for.
Although initially scheduled to drop by a small hour, three and a half hours of surprises went surprising if you noticed the exhibit contents far exceeding the expectation. Together with comfortable tiredness, “I want to come again” was the afternoon on the second day of Okinawa, where the two of us talked about the same impression.
